At WiseCup Media we work with people: clients, copywriters, designers, strategists, suppliers, partners. This document sets out how we behave, and what we expect in return.

What we commit to

Honest work. We do not exaggerate results, invent metrics, or sell what we cannot deliver. If something is not working, we say so. If we make a mistake, we own it and fix it.

Respect for everyone we work with. Clients, freelancers, employees, and partners get the same baseline of professionalism — regardless of role, seniority, language, nationality, gender, age, or background.

Care with our clients’ brands. Their reputation sits in our hands every time we write, publish, or strategise for them. We protect it as if it were ours.

Confidentiality. Business information, client data, internal documents, and creative work shared with us stays with us. We do not share, repurpose, or discuss it outside the people who need to see it.

Fair treatment of contractors. Copywriters and freelancers receive clear briefs, fair pay, prompt invoicing, and honest feedback. We expect quality. We do not exploit.

What we expect from those we work with

The same standards apply in the other direction. From everyone in our network we ask for:

  • Respectful communication. No harassment, no discrimination, no personal attacks. This applies to email, Slack, WhatsApp, calls, in person, and in any public forum where our work is referenced.
  • Good faith. Honest briefs, honest feedback, honest disagreement. We welcome challenge. We do not welcome manipulation or bad-faith argument.
  • Timeliness and clarity. Turn up to meetings, respond within reasonable timeframes, flag delays before they become problems.
  • Professional conduct. Romantic solicitation, personal pressure, harassment or coercive behavior will not be tolerated.

Zero tolerance

We end working relationships — immediately and without negotiation — when we encounter:

  • Harassment, bullying, or intimidation
  • Discriminatory language or conduct
  • Threats of any kind
  • Theft of work, intellectual property, or confidential information
  • Deliberate deception or fraud

This applies in both directions. A client who treats our team badly is not a client we will keep. A contractor who behaves this way will not be hired again.

Raising a concern

If something feels wrong — a comment, an interaction, a pattern — speak to Carla or Lukas directly. Concerns are handled confidentially. Retaliation against anyone who raises a concern in good faith is itself a breach of this code.

Why this matters

Our work depends on trust. Clients trust us with their brands. Contractors trust us with their time and craft. Readers of what we publish assume good intent. None of that survives if we — or the people around us — behave badly.

This is the standard. We hold ourselves to it. We hold our partners to it.
