FAQs

Wisecup is a web design and development studio based in Mallorca. We build fast, trust-first websites with SEO included from day one — so you get a site that wins work and keeps performing, without juggling separate designers, developers, and SEO agencies.

Working with us

By the time we begin, we’ve usually spoken a few times and learned a lot about your business and goals. To kick off properly, we ask you to help us complete a short brief covering strategy, audience, goals, SEO, copy, design, and the technology we’ll build on, so we’re fully aligned before any work starts. We’ll also need access to the relevant parts of your brand, such as your domain, current website, and hosting, where needed. We’ll guide you through exactly what’s required, so nothing is left to guesswork.

Pricing & payments

For full website projects, payment is split across milestones, typically in two or three stages depending on the size of the project. Smaller pieces of work, such as a landing page or SEO project, are paid upfront. We can be flexible with longer payment plans where it helps; in those cases, the site goes fully live to you once the final payment is cleared. We’ll lay out the exact schedule clearly before we begin, so there are no surprises.

We begin once the first payment is made. This is standard practice and simply marks the official start of the project.

Beyond the build, you’ll have standard running costs like your domain and, for WordPress sites, hosting. If you’re not on one of our care plans, WordPress builds carry a small €10/month charge after the first year to cover the cost of premium tools that keep your site running well. Everything is made clear before you commit, so nothing comes as a surprise.

Hosting, domains & ownership

For WordPress sites, yes, hosting is fully managed and hands-free for you. We’ve hand-picked a reliable, high-performance solution so you don’t have to think about it. If you’d rather host on your own account, we’re happy to set the site up there instead.

Yes. Once the final payment is cleared, the website is fully yours. You get complete access to everything, and we’ll send you a document with all the usernames and passwords you need. Your domain always stays in your own name, we simply help you set it up on your own account.

Yes, for everyday changes. Updating headlines, text, and images is straightforward and doesn’t need a developer. For bigger structural changes, we’d recommend a hand from us, so nothing breaks and you don’t lose any SEO or compliance work along the way.

After launch

Every project includes 30 days of post-launch support, where we’ll fix anything that isn’t working as it should or correct any bug we may have missed. After final approval, this period covers fixes rather than new content or features. Beyond the first 30 days, our care plans are there to keep things running and to support any ongoing updates or changes you’d like to make, so you’re never left to handle it alone.

Yes. Our ongoing care plan keeps your site current, secure, and monitored, so issues like a broken form or a slow page get caught before they cost you a lead. It’s optional, but most clients who rely on their website for leads choose to keep it in place.

Yes. We continue with on-page optimisation and can write blog content that builds your search presence over time, so you’re not handing your SEO to a separate agency after launch. One team owns both the build and the rankings.

Working together / fit

Yes. We’re based in Mallorca and our team works remotely worldwide, so we work with clients across Spain, Europe, and beyond.

We work across industries, mainly with founder-led service and specialist businesses where reputation and credibility drive sales. If your website needs to build trust and bring in leads, we’re likely a good fit, regardless of sector.

We’ll tell you. If a call makes it clear we’re not the best team for your project, we’ll say so honestly, and where we can, point you toward someone better suited. We’d rather be straight with you than take on work that won’t serve you.
